At an early age, Corey learned the importance of taking pride in one’s home — a lesson ingrained in him by his grandmother. Through grade school and high school in rural West Tennessee, that ethos of living she shared slowly developed into a love of beautiful design. Attending O’More College of Design in historic Franklin, Tennessee only deepened that love for him, and in 2015, Corey graduated with a BFA in Interior Design.

Shortly after graduating, Corey was approached to assist on a renovation project which grew large enough to allow him to found his own design firm, C. Morris Studio. In addition to running the Nashville-based studio, Corey has spent time refining his craft as a concrete artisan, following the footsteps of his father who specialized in decorative concrete. Corey creates custom cement lamps and furniture for his design clients and new customers alike.
